Adolesence

It seems as if your chest is stuffed
with copper wire circuitry
heated to intensity
words do not work
boys grunt, girls cheep
days fly past and last forever
you never feel in control
veering off into agonies

      1. I can sympathize, Kim….though our kids are all middle aged now. My husband and I each had two teenage boys when we married in ’86. There were times when we about went nuts. But we survived and all have funny stories to tell from those days. (And we lament how fast the years have gone by.)
        Good luck, and enjoy! 😊
