Study in Green

And the budding begins
Sticky tree buds emerging from the wood
Reddish at first, but shading to luminous green
Nature now waits
As do I, with baited breath
For the right moment

It’s a season of miracles. I am struck anew by how generously Mother Earth moves through her cycles, in the midst of all the man-made turmoil and destruction. Patiently trying to show us how.
